Virginia Freisner, 83 years old, passed away in Palm Springs, CA on May 30th, 2022. Virginia was born to Manual Mendez and Ruth Mendez on December 17, 1938 in Needles, CA. She had one sister, Irene.

Virginia attended Needles Elementary School and graduated from Needles High School in 1956. She went on to attend college at California State University, San Bernardino.

She married Eldon Hoskinson on June 22, 1959 and they had two children: Terri George and James Hoskinson. She moved to Blythe with her husband and children in September of 1965. After Eldon passed away in 1969, Virginia remarried and found love again with Dan Freisner.

Virginia worked at Appleby Elementary School in the computer lab and then she became the school's Librarian from 1973-2010.

Virginia collected Mickey Mouse statues and John Wayne movies and pictures. She loved doing puzzles and coloring on her computer and going to the casinos. She also loved her fur babies Minnie Be Be.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Terri George (Mike) and her son James Hoskinson (Alicia), her four grandkids Casey George, Cody George, Estrella Hoskinson, and Manual Hoskinson Jr.; and her one great grandson Milo Michael George.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Manual and Ruth, her first husband Eldon and 2nd husband Dan Freisner.

Virginia will be so dearly missed. Fly with the Angels Mom, we love you.

Services will be held Friday, June 17th at 10 am at Frye Chapel and after services we will meet at the Zion Lutheran Church for a luncheon. All are welcome to attend.
