Vera F. Rodriguez, a beloved resident of Blythe, CA, passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She was born in Arden, NV, and spent her life dedicated to her family, work and community.

Vera was a devoted employee of High and Mighty Farms, where she contributed her skills and knowledge for many years. Her commitment and hard work made her an integral part of the organization. She also co-owned two convenient stores alongside her brother, John Rodriguez, where she served the community.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Vera had a passion for quilting and embroidery. She poured her heart into creating beautiful and intricate pieces of artwork. Her talent and creativity brought joy to everyone who saw her work.

Vera was an alumna of Palo Verde High School – Class of 1947, where her passion for business and the arts began. Her educational achievements reflected her determination and desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Beyond her professional and artistic endeavors, Vera will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and straight-forwardness. She was known for her warm smile, gentle nature, and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and heard.

Vera is survived by several siblings and other extended family members, who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of wisdom, dedication, love, and grace.

A memorial graveside service to celebrate the life of Vera F. Rodriguez will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00am at Palo Verde Cemetery in Blythe, CA.   In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Vera's memory to Soroptimist International of Blythe, CA.

May Vera's soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memories bring comfort to those who mourn her loss.
