VANESSA NOLASCO née BOWEN, AUGUST 16, 1968 - FEBRUARY 6, 2017 Vanessa Nolasco née Bowen passed peacefully on February 6, 2017.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her father, Mack Bowen; mother, Barbara Ward; nephew, Lavelle Stokely.
She was the beloved mother of 3 surviving children: Andre Leivas; Allyssia Woodard; and Joanna Woofard (Kevin). She is also survived by her husband, Marc Nolasco; siblings, Janette Edmond, Valerie Stokely and Regina Edmond; grandchildren, Roslyn Leivas, Andre Leivas Jr, Andrea Leivas, Ulysses Magana, Adrian Leivas, Julius Leivas, Isaiah Gonzales, Andre Gonzales and Ezra Gonzales; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vanessa was born in 1968 in Blythe, CA, to Barbara Ward and Mack Bowen. She graduated from Twin Palms High School.
Vanessa moved and resided in the San Bernardino area. Vanessa married Marc Nolasco on February 16, 2011. Vanessa touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held at The Potters House Christian Fellowship Church, Friday, March 10th at 7 pm.
