Valerie Walker was born December 7th, 1969 in Yuma, Arizona to her late parents, Felton and Lucille Walker. Val was the youngest of five children.

Growing up in Blythe, California, she graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1993 and later on received her college degrees at Palo Verde College for Medical Billing & Coding and Office Professional. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, God and family. Val was kindhearted, compassionate, caring, loving, genuine and so much more.  She always brightened up a room - putting a smile on everyone's face.

She was a cancer survivor of 20 years, beating all odds. She worked several different jobs while raising her four children, making sure they had the best life being the best Mom.   Val was always helping out in her community.  She was raised in church and she gave her life to God serving in the church of Shiloh District.

She had an impact on everyone. So many lives were touched who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved spending time with her 13 beautiful grandkids. Val enjoyed taking them to church, on adventurous trips and to the movies making wonderful memories. She loved cooking, listening to music, dancing and celebrating with family.

Val is survived by her children LaShanette Guizer, Christopher Guizer, Lakeisha Walker and Nickole Bowen (Darneshyia) of Blythe, CA and God-daughter Shanice Washington.

She was preceded in death with her Dad, Mom and Sister. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Tatiana Holley, Tyrique Holley Janiyah Saunders, Zahneyah Lane, Zion Lane, Zoey Lane, Kaiceon Ellis, Kaidreon Ellis, Nahalyia Cueavas, Alayia Flowers, Ambrose Flowers and Jequai Flowers. She also leaves behind her great-grandson Aijalon Holley, unborn child, her sisters, brother and a host of family members and friends.
