Thomas Taliaferro was born in Culver City, CA, to Richard and Patricia Taliaferro on December 6, 1966. Due to complications of pneumonia he passed away early morning on January 31, 2018, at JFK hospital in Indio, CA. He grew up in Blythe, graduating from PVHS as a member of the Class of 1985. In 1993 he married Seanea Jessop and they had two beautiful children that he loved and adored, Thomas Jr. (TJ) and Jenna Lea.

As a young man, Tommy worked as an agriculture inspector and raced motorcycles with the Dobbs family. His passion was spending time with his children and family. He loved having family barbeques, playing in the desert, on the river, and watching NASCAR. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, racing his class 9 buggie in the Nevada desert and loved attending any desert race. He later became licensed as a locksmith, and owned and operated A Desert Locksmith until his passing.

Tommy is survived by his children, TJ and Jenna, his father Richard, and his sisters Colleen (Tim) Burt, Kathy (Kirby) Hightower, and Margaret (Rolando) Cavazos. Tommy has many close friends and family members who also survive him. Tommy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia Taliaferro in 1988 and his grandmother, Margaret McColley in 1995.
