Thelma Armenta, just one day shy of her 96th birthday, passed away on August 27, 2026 in Blythe, CA.

Thelma was born on August 28, 1930 to Jewel and Viola Holloway in Parkin, Arkansas.  She married Daniel Redondo Armenta on January 24, 1948 in Eloy, AZ.  Thelma worked as a beautician for over 40 years, running her very own beauty shop.

She is survived by her children: Jerry, Sam, Paul, Rick, Debbie, Kathy and George; 20 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Steve, her husband Danny and her mother Viola.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Blythe with visitation beginning at 9am and funeral service starting at 10am.  Interment will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 9am at Palo Verde Cemetery, where Thelma will be laid to rest with her husband Danny.
