Theodore Gilbert Todd II, at the age of 56, passed away on September 3, 2021, at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California, after a brave battle with Cancer.
Theodore, affectionately known as Lil Ted or Teddy, was born at Palo Verde Hospital in Blythe, California, on October 11, 1964, the second of three children.
Teddy started employment with the Palo Verde Irrigation District on March 23, 1992 as a Zanjero and worked there for over 29 years. Teddy enjoyed his job working as a Senior Zanjero, working the night shift. When Teddy was diagnosed with cancer he remained dedicated to his job, never missing any days of work up to his death.
Teddy loved Off-Road Racing, Nascar, Bicycle racing and most other Motorsports. He also liked playing the Lotto and collecting magazines.
Teddy was preceded in death by his Father Theodore (Teddy) G. Todd, paternal grandparents Gilbert H. Todd and Vurl Ruth Todd; maternal grandparents George T. (Tommy) Pascho and Betty M. Corricelli, and step grandfather Pat Corricelli, Aunt Jeanette Ruth Titus, Uncle J. C. Titus, Uncle Terry M. Todd, Uncle Stephen T. Pascho and Aunt Florence (Flossie) Thwing.
He is survived by his Mother, Mary Lynn Todd Boyd and stepfather, George (Bob) R. Boyd of Brea, CA., one sister, Stephanie D. Todd of Buckeye, AZ., one brother, Marc A. Todd of Blythe, CA., one step brother Robert (Bobby) R. Boyd (Sandy) of Anaheim, CA., two Aunts, Diana Todd and Margaret Larmour, two Uncles James (Jimmy) Pascho and James Thwing. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece and numerous cousins.
Teddy will be remembered by his family and friends as a quiet and soft spoken man with a kind heart. Teddy will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. with services following at Frye Chapel. The burial will follow immediately after at Palo Verde Cemetery. A Celebration of Life to be held at the American Legion from noon to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or the American Humane Society.
