Susan Marie White, age 69, died early Saturday morning on the way to the hospital, August 29, 2020 due to a long battle with heart issues.

She was born September 1, 1950 in the Blythe hospital. Susan's family are long time residents in the community. She is one of four siblings. Susan attended the local schools and graduated from PVHS in 1969. She met the love of her life, Robert James White, while working at a local restaurant in 1969. They married in 1970 making the Blythe area their home. They had two beautiful children. Susan maintained the home while Bob worked. She participated in all school and church activities. Her passion in life were her family and her animals. From a small child she loved every animal her father brought home and cared for all the animals on their family farm.

Susan left us just two days before her 70th birthday. Her husband Robert James White of 50 years passed away just one day later. They are at peace together in heaven.

Susan was preceded in death by her father Frank F. Smith and mother Julia L. Smith.

She is survived by her two children Brian James White and Regina Sue White, her daughter-in-law Angie White and granddaughter Ashley White, her three siblings, Russell Smith of Blythe, Loretta Salons, and Mary Hodge.

Services will be held at Frye Chapel on Friday, September 11th beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by Graveside services at Palo Verde Cemetery.
