Sandra Mae "Sandy" Bonnet, age 81, passed on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at her home in Blythe, CA, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Pratt, Kansas. She was the daughter of Floyd and Ester Nossaman. She graduated in 1959 from Herbert Hoover High School in San Diego, CA.

Sandy was the wife of Dr. Frank E. Bonnet. They were married on August 5, 1958 and just recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary together.

She moved to Blythe in 1973 with her husband and son from Ontario, CA. She helped her husband in his dental practice for many years. She also worked for Palo Verde Unified School District at Ruth Brown Elementary School as a Program Clerk for several years.

Sandy was a dedicated and lifelong member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Since moving to Blythe, she had been a pillar of the Blythe Seventh-Day Adventist Church, as well as an Elder. She was respected and loved by all of her "church family".

She enjoyed spending time on the river, camping at the sand dunes with family and friends, and going to NASCAR. She always supported her family in their many racing adventures. She was their number 1 fan. She loved to have family gatherings. Family was everything to her and she had a lot of adopted family.  She was full of love and made everyone feel welcome. Anyone that knew her would tell you what a selfless and loving person she was. She always put others first, that is the kind of woman she was and was often referred to as an angel. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her grandchildren immensely. Her entire life was dedicated to God, her family and her church.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, husband, Frank; son, Jeff Bonnet & daughter-in-law, Roxanne Winters; grandchildren, Alexis Bonnet, Andre Bonnet & wife Lauren, and Ayden Bonnet; brother Rick Nossaman & wife Marilou; cousins, many close friends and church family.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Blythe, CA. Immediately following the service, there will be a gathering of family and friends for a meal at Blythe Community Center, 445 N. Broadway, Blythe, CA.
