Salvador (Killer) Hernandez Jr., 61, of Blythe, Ca passed away January 7, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on September 12, 1963 to Salvador and Paulina Hernandez in San Luis Rio Colorada, Sonora, Mexico. Salvador was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.

As Salvador got older and saved some money, he bought himself a car and cruised up and down Hobsonway and would park at the Alpha-beta parking lot to hang out with his friends. He was very popular among his friends who loved to party but once he became a father, the partying stopped and spent all of his spare time with his children. He will always be remembered for his spaghetti, pancakes, arroz con leche, just to name a few. You would also find him outside keeping up with the yard or watching TV with his kids. He was a jack of all trades who was able to fix almost anything. He was a former member of a Christian church band at Templo El Siloe playing drums. You would always hear him listening to hard rock music from the 80's which was his favorite. He worked 32 seasons at Modern Ginning Co. He was such a loving and caring father/grandfather who gave his all into raising his children. His grandson Sebastian was his best friend whom he had built a beautiful bond with and loved as his own.

Salvador is survived by his wife, Olivia Garza, children, Axel, Jacob, Alanis and Jennifer Hernandez, grandson Sebastian, stepson Joseph (Clarisa) Hernandez, step grandchildren, Natalie, Daisy, and Joseph, step daughter Abrianna (Jose) Manjarrez, step grandchildren, Angel and Gabriella, father Salvador (Patty), siblings Mike (Sonia), Chavela, Carlos, Sandra (Skip), Maggie (Dan), Mariza (Jose), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Paulina Hernandez and a few of his friends whom also have passed on.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10am at Templo El Siloe, 239 E. Barnard St, Blythe, Ca 92225.
