Ruth R. Mees ('Cuca'), 75, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.

Ruth was born July 4, 1942 in Blythe, California to Joaquin and Laurencia Robles.  Ruth worked at the Modern Cotton Gin for more than 15 years.  She loved fishing, animals and flowers.

Ruth is survived by her husband Pete Mees; her children Sally Jo Hale and Kenneth Hale; her grandchildren Alexsia (Clinton) Lubert, Christopher Sanchez, Sasha Sanchez and Ivy Hale; her great grandchildren Jaslene and Michael; her siblings Anita Malgarejo, Joaquin (Helen) Robles, Andy (Karen) Robles and Jenny Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joaquin and Laurencia, her daughter Gina Sanchez and grandson Michael Curiel.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel for family and friends.

A gathering will follow at the VFW immediately following the visitation.
