Ruth Eileen Jaime (nee Pippin) died March 28th in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 95. Ruth was born in Peru, Kansas December 12, 1923. She was the oldest of the children born to Thomas C. Pippin and Loue Verna Pippin McBeath (nee Vanderhoof). She was predeceased by her sister Lois Curtis and brother Paul Pippin. Surviving are her sister Barbara Davis and brothers Wilfred Pippin, Daniel Pippin, and James McBeath.

After graduation, Ruth eloped to Las Vegas on October 1, 1941 with her high school sweetheart Clarence Jaime. They were married 77 years and were the parents of six children. Ruth was a stay-at-home mom taking an active interest in all of the activities of her children. She is predeceased by daughter Rose Marie, and sons Andrew, Paul, and son-in-law John Kanner. She is survived by daughters Judith Kanner Gordy and Teresa Castillo and sons-in-law Gomercindo Castillo and Leonard Gordy.

Ruth is survived by seven grandchildren: Jack Kanner, Lisa Tolan, Jennifer Rivera, Joseph Rivera, Mario Castillo, Monica Jaime, and Paul Jaime. Her great-grandchildren include Alayna Rivera, Matthew and Justin Kanner, Anthony and Lucas Tolan, Christian and Isaac Rivera, and Izabella Rivera.

Visitation, Funeral Mass, and Interment will take place in Blythe, California as follows:

Visitation will be at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Thursday, April 4th from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday April 5th from 10 to 11:30 am.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Joan of Arc Church on Friday, April 5th at 12 Noon

Interment will be at Palo Verde Cemetery immediately after the Funeral Mass.
