Rosemary Gonzalez Duenes, 43, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her four kids and loving family. She was born June 9, 1974 to Graciela and Tony Gonzalez at Palo Verde Valley Hospital in Blythe, California.

Rosemary, was a single mother of four kids whom were her world! She had a good heart and a beautiful smile. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to have fun and listen to music. Country, Spanish and Old School, were her favorite. She also enjoyed cooking for everyone, and was an excellent cook. Her food was always cooked with love and perfection.

Rosemary's kids each had something special they loved to do with their mother. Aaron, 22, loved to lounge around with her on his days off and watch movies. Jonathan, 20, loved to talk and listen to her as well as take trips out of town, to go shopping. Serena, 17, loved to spend as much time with her mother as she could. She loved to cuddle, hug and give her mom lots of love. Alayna, 16, loved when her mom would watch her cheer at games and watch her dance, at dance recitals. Alayna says her mom always looked so proud of her when watching from the stands. They all loved their mother as much as she loved them. Rosemary will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The memories each of her kids shared, will stick with them for eternity, as well as the memories family and friends hold in their hearts.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her Grandmother Maria Emma Otero, Grandfather Manuel Otero, uncle Augustine Salinas, cousin Nora Rodriguez, and cousin Armando Otero. She is survived by her sons Aaron and Jonathan Duenes, daughters Serena and Alayna Duenes, parents Graciela and Tony Gonzalez, siblings Tony Gonzalez and Kristina Gonzalez, one niece, two nephews and many family members and friends.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, there will be a Rosary beginning at 10:00 am followed by Mass at 11:00 am in Rosemary's memory.  A Potluck Reception will follow immediately at the VFW Post at 148 N. 1st Street in Blythe.
