Robert Reyes was born on October 23,1956 to Pedro and Elisa Reyes in Raymondville, Texas. He was called home on November 9, 2024 in Palm Springs, California surrounded by his loved ones.

Robert was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather known for his kindness and sense of humor. Robert loved to dance and make everyone laugh.

In 1975 Robert married Irma Reyes, for the first few years of their marriage they enjoyed themselves before welcoming their only son Robert Reyes Jr in 1980.  In 1983 their first daughter April Reyes was born, then in 1987 their youngest daughter Crystal Reyes was born.

Robert worked for Modern Gin for many years, XPO (formerly Conway), Palo Verde Disposal, and Blythe Transit before retiring in 2018.

Robert loved to go camping on the weekends at the river during the summer. He and his son enjoyed spending time fishing. Robert loved to watch his son and grandsons play baseball. Every Thanksgiving Day you would find Robert in front of the TV cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Win or lose he remained a fan until his last breath.

Robert is survived by his wife Irma Reyes, son Robert Reyes Jr. daughters April and Crystal Reyes,13 Grandkids and 20 Great Grandkids.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Elisa Reyes, his sister Mary Reyes, brother Carlos Reyes and Grandson Andres Reyes.

Robert will be missed by many and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at Frye Chapel from 6-8:00 p.m., with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with graveside services following at Palo Verde Cemetery.  A reception will follow at the Parish Hall at St. Joan of Arc.
