Robert Ortiz (aka Bobby) 92 years, passed away on July 3, 2024 at Rancho Mirage Health Center in Rancho Mirage, Ca. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Blythe.  After finishing school he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Bobby was a true Dodger fan and one of his favorite memories was when his nephew, Manuel Ortiz and brother John, took him to see the Dodgers play at Dodger Stadium for his birthday.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Celia Ortiz, his brother Henry, and sister Gloria. He is survived by his sister Norma, brother John, as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10 am, followed by a gathering at the American Legion 137 N. Ash. The family would love to hear any stories you would like to share of our brother Bobby.
