Ricky Wayne Dewbre, 66, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Blythe, CA.

Ricky was born on May 27, 1952 in Porterville, California to Edward Wayne and Wanda Lee Dewbre. He was the oldest of seven children.

During his childhood years, Ricky and his family moved around quite often to various states but settled in Bloomington, California where Ricky attended schools and graduated high school from Bloomington High.

Shortly after graduating high school, Ricky married Lori McKay and together they had three children, Ricky, April and Heather.

Ricky worked in construction nearly all of his life; working many years as a foreman under Jim Acheson. He also worked many years at a textile plant manufacturing fabric.

Ricky will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda Lee Dewbre and Wayne Dewbre; his nephew Randy and cousin Fay.

He is survived by his children, Ricky Dewbre, April Dewbre, Heather Pope, Jacob Dewbre and Colby Dewbre; his siblings, Roy, Ronnie, Darrell, Donna and Susan Dewbre; his grandchildren, Emma and Lori Beth Pope; two great grandchildren (and one on the way); as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 1st with visitation beginning at 8:00 am at Frye Chapel, and funeral services starting at 10:00 a.m., also at Frye Chapel.

A reception will follow services at the VFW Post 2987, 148 N. 1st Street in Blythe.
