Richard Duane Selph, 66, of Blythe, California passed away April 18, 2020.

Richard was born January 24, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona to Leonard and Marion Selph. Richard grew up in Phoenix and after high school he worked for a truck repair company. He met the love of his life, Patricia, in the summer of 1975 and they married on April 3, 1977 in Tucson, Arizona. They moved their family to Blythe later that same year and Richard began working for Ramsey's Truck and Trailer Repair. Richard and Patricia raised five boys together, he taught his boys love and respect and the value of your word. Richard dedicated his life to working hard and making sure his family was well taken care of. He loved riding horses and being in nature, going camping with family and friends and enjoyed rides in the desert. Richard's joy in life was spending time and teaching his grandchildren new things. Love shined through his eyes when he was with his grandchildren. He would do anything for anyone; if you needed help he was there, no matter what.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Vicki and his son Brandon Selph.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Kenneth (Lisa), Richard (Yuri), Earl (Mirna) and Jaime (Kristi); his ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Frye Chapel on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 9am-12pm. All are invited to attend.
