Obituary

Richard Michael Corsi was born on September 14, 1964 to Albert Michael and Judi Corsi. Richard went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2019 surrounded by his family.

"Rich" was raised in the Riverside area and graduated from Ramona High School in 1983.

He had a love for racing from the time he was young and fondly spoke of racing his go-cart for many years with his Dad. After high school, Rich went to the Fire Academy and worked for a short time for the Pasadena Fire Department. He moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to help care for his Nana. There he worked for McCullough Chainsaw until it went out of business. He then went to work for Sterilite Corporation until his passing.

Rich loved people and racing. He was an Official and Safety Director for the Lucas Oil Modified Series for 10 years. He also worked for the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as a fireman when NASCAR was in town and loved every minute of it – whether he was on a Safety truck or on Pit Row. He considered all the firemen, women and all the people he worked with as Brothers and Sisters and loved them dearly.

On Friday the 13th of April in 2012, Rich met the love of his life, Christine Evans. He took on her children and their wives, Delbert and Lori Evans and Justin and Stephanie Evans, as his own children, showing them so much love.

Rich's excitement of the upcoming births of his grandsons – Levi in December and Judah in February was overwhelming. Levi was to be his Little Bubba and Judah his Little Buddy. Rich had already purchased wagons and Tonka trucks for each of them.

Rich accepted the entire Evans family as his own and enjoyed spending time with all of them. Rich was always upbeat and had the excitement of a child on a daily basis. He enjoyed and always had a story to tell. He loved camping, driving his side-by- side and spending time with his family.

Rich was preceded in death by his father Albert Michel Corsi and his grandfather Albert Paul Corsi.

He is survived by his love, Christine Evans; and family, Delbert (Lori) and Justin (Stephanie), dear family friend Brad Olsen and family and his four puppies – two Jack Russell Terriers, Lacey and Ginger, a Yorkie, Sophie and a Maltese, Cami, aka Nut Bucket.

A memorial service for Rich will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel.
