Respicio Perez Ortega passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Blythe, CA on October 15, 2018 at the age of 58.

Respicio was born on July 2, 1960 in Araro, Michoacán, Mexico. He married Efigenia, his sweetheart, in 1987. After moving to Blythe, Respisio worked with Sun World International as a harvest picker.

He was a generous, witty and dedicated individual who loved spending hours with his family.

Respicio is survived by his wife Efigenia, children, Respicio Jr. (Samantha) and Omar, siblings, Jorge (Julie), Miguel (Maria del Rosario), Abel (Maria), Maria Perez Bautista and Esperanza Perez Trujillo and many nephews, nieces and Godchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Respicio and Adela Perez, brother Gerardo Perez and sisters Maria Perez Briceno and Eligia Perez Juarez.

Visitation services are scheduled for Sunday, October 21st at Frye Chapel at 6:00 PM with Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.  Mass will be on Monday, October 22nd at 10:00 AM  at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 875 E Chanslor Way, in Blythe, CA.  Father Henry Licznerski will officiate the ceremony.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Respicio's life.  The family would like to thank the caregivers for their care and dedication.
