Obituary

Raymond Soto Moraga, aged 95, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Coachella, CA. Born on December 5, 1930 in Phoenix, AZ. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean War as part of "A" Troop, 5th Calvary Regiment. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He volunteered at Harmony Kitchen, Blythe Senior Center, Palo Verde Historical Society, and the VFW.

Raymond is survived by his daughters Rebecca, Teresa, and Cristina, sons, Robert and Steven, and sisters Alice and Delfina. He was preceded in death by his son Marc. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate Raymond's life be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Frye Chapel in Blythe, CA. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by the service from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Blythe Cemetery.

Raymond's life was marked by his service to his country, his community, and his enduring love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
