Ramiro Cantu González died July 19, 2021 in Sun City, Arizona. He was born on November 18, 1940 in La Palmita Tamaulipas, México. Ramiro was a hard working man. He quit school so he could work and provide for his mother and siblings.

In 1959 at the age of 19 Ramiro left home and came to Blythe in search for work. Since then he worked in the Farming Industry. One of his first jobs was with a local Feed Yard. He went on to work for various farms throughout the Palo Verde Valley: D.L Mudd, Delta Ranches, Van Dyke Farms, just to name a few. Most recently he worked for Fondomonte Farms.

Ramiro married the love of his life, Evangelina Loya in 1962. A devoted family man that enjoyed sharing stories and his life lessons with his children and grandchildren and setting an example of how to live life right. Those lucky enough to really know him know Ramiro was humility, kindness, gentleness, patience and wisdom personified. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents Modesto and Herlinda Gonzalez, and his sisters Celia Maldonado and Ofelia Medrano.

He is survived by his wife Evangelina Gonzalez; daughters Aleida Sandoval, Nereida Navarro and his son Ramiro Gonzalez Jr. (Maria); grandchildren David Sandoval, Jennifer Navarro and Alexis Gonzalez; his brothers Modesto Gonzalez, Everardo Gonzalez and his sister Estela Domínguez.

A Memorial Service will be held at Frye Chapel in Blythe on Thursday August 12th from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
