Rafael Ramiro Gallo Aguayo
August 2, 1995 – January 10, 2022

Rafael was born in Blythe, CA to his proud parents Veronica and Rafael Gallo on August 2, 1995.

Rafael was a loving, caring and very responsible person who enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, swimming, trampoline and skate parks, ice skating, hiking and air hockey, but cooking was his main passion. He loved it all, whether it was cooking, baking, broiling, frying, grilling or smoking. He loved cooking different types of food and having his friends and family together. Rafael could cook any recipe he found interesting online and celebrate with family and friends. Rafael made sure everyone tasted his cooking and yes, it was the best and he celebrated always with laughter, singing and having a safe and fun time.

Rafael was an active member of the River Church in Blythe since he was eight years old. There he met Pastor Robert and Pam Johnston and became close friends with their son Jordan. Rafael learned the word of God and memorized the bible at the River Church. When he was eighteen, he became a leader of the youth group and assisted with teaching the word of God to the youth. Rafael attended and assisted with various church activities and loved spreading the word of God to those who wanted to learn.

Rafael attended the local schools from kindergarten to high school, working full time while attending high school. He became a security guard supervisor for the Coachella Valley and Blythe Gas Companies.

One of his favorite hobbies was to go fishing with his fiancé Ruby and his two dogs, Nani and Fonna. During the summer it was difficult to get Rafael out of the river, where he was always having a great time with his family, friends and co-workers. Rafael knew different parts of the river where it was safe to be, spots that his family and friends discovered because of him.

He is survived and will be greatly missed by his mother and father, Veronica and Rafael Gallo, sisters Alejandra and Delilah Gallo, brothers Anthony, Sebastian and Dominic Gallo, and his fiancé Ruby Hernandez.

Rafael was preceded in death by his grandmother Charlene Burke, great grandparents Nicolas Navarro, Rosendo Aguayo, Emilia Aguayo and Pauline Poole.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2nd at Frye Chapel & Mortuary with viewing from 9-11:00 a.m. and funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial services will follow immediately afterward at Palo Verde Cemetery.
