Pedro Ramirez Madrigal passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, August 1, 2020 surrounded by his wife of 52 years and his children.

Pedro was born on June 29, 1939 to Luciana Madrigal and Maximiano Ramirez in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico.

He grew up and attended school in La Rosa, Jalisco. He came to the United States during the time of the braceros with a work visa at the age of 19. He had many dreams and ambitions for a better life.

Pedro was a very hardworking man, and during those hard working years in Salinas, California he met and later married Daria Veliz Sandoval, the most beautiful lady with the most beautiful long hair. They had two children, Hortenzia and Hector.

Pedro worked for many Ranchers here in the Palo Verde Valley until his retirement in 1980. After his retirement he and his wife enjoyed raising farm animals. He will always be remembered as a humble man with an enormous heart. You would always see him wearing his cowboy boots and cowboy hat. He was the type of person that would help everyone and would not hesitate to give away the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was a loving husband and father.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 6-8:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Frye Chapel.

Services will be on Friday, August 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel with interment following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
