It is with great sorrow our beautiful and kind, Maria Patricia "Patty" Mendoza Lamb, departed her loving family on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at age 55 here in Blythe, CA. She passed peacefully with her family and best friend at her bedside. We are heartbroken by the loss of our oldest sister, but honored to be able to have the opportunity to reflect on her life with you all.

Patty was born June 10th, 1968 in Blythe, CA to the late Lorenzo Mendoza and Mary Helen Mendoza. Patty was the second to the oldest of 8 children. After tragically losing our eldest brother Larry, Patty became the eldest sibling we all looked up to. She was a 1987 graduate from Palo Verde High School, in Blythe, CA. She became a mother at 19 to Tyrone Howery then later married and had three daughters, Raquel Morgan, Yessica Morgan, and her beautiful pride and joy Starr Morgan. Patty married Russell Lee Lamb on June 10, 2008 in Las Vegas. They resided in the Blythe CA with her children, and bonus children.

Patty is and will always be the greatest loss to the ones who greatly loved her. Those who were fortunate enough to know her could agree that she was one of the most loving, kindest, and humble person you could encounter. She had the biggest heart and always dedicated her time and unconditional love to her family; she loved us so much. She always selflessly wanted to cater to and take care of her family and those around her. She appreciated spending time with her loved ones by family get-togethers, camping trips, baking for the holidays and the list goes on.

Patty's greatest love was her Starr Starr. Everyone could always see Patty proudly representing and supporting Autism awareness for her baby Starr Starr. Those who knew, knew her greatest fight was for Starr. She fought her hardest to stay as long as she could for her baby Starr. Patty was always known to have a beautiful kind soul, but her family knew her as a beautiful, crazy, fun, talkative person. A genuine kind human being. We will truly miss her smile, laugh, hugs, and wonderful words of encouragement.

Patty battled cancer until her last breath. Despite her odds, every post of her journey on facebook was always with positivity and blessings. She always kept her faith in God, and said her fight wasn't for cancer, it was for more time with her family especially her Starr Starr.

Maria Patricia "Patty" Mendoza Lamb is survived by her husband Russell Lee Lamb, son Tyrone Howery, daughters Raquel, Yessica, Starr, Kalia, and Safiya. Her grandchildren Minah, Malik, Ushawn, Zayani, Samiya, Myarae, Devin, Triniti Stormi, King and Malia and numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, and siblings Angelica, Rebecca, Luz, Yvonne, Marco, and Miguel. She is preceded in death by her father Lorenzo Mendoza, Mother Mary Helen Mendoza, and brother Lorenzo "Larry" Mendoza Jr. and numerous family members.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at Spirit of Life Church 140 S. Willow, Blythe, Ca. 92225 on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 10am. Celebration of life reception will follow.
