Pamela Lee Ragsdale was loved by all and cherished by many. She was born to Joyce Lee Smith and James (Earline) Lee Ragsdale on February 26, 1954. Pamela was born in Oakland Ca, her family then moved to Riverside Ca. Pam and her family eventually planted her roots in Blythe Ca when Pam was in High School.

Pamela leaves behind four children and stepdaughter, Jason (Blanca) Atkinson, Nicole (Isaac) Moore, Stacy Gilliam, Samantha Houser, and David Houser II, her sisters Lori Ragsdale and Emmie Ragsdale-Christensen. Pam also leaves behind Emmie's Mother Linda and sister Elizabeth. Pam's grandchildren Jason II, Jordan, Jakob, Jasmine, Jessica, Isiaah, Jace, Jerric, Kevin, Keith, Emma, Hayden, Dominick, and Harper., a great granddaughter Abigail, and her nieces and nephews Kyra, Sinjin, Jacob, and Eric. Pam is preceded in death by her mother Joyce.

Pamela started her life working at the pizza place in 1979 for a few years while taking classes at Palo Verde College until she started as an aide for the Palo Verde School District in 1985. She eventually moved up as a head start teacher for the Palo Verde Unified School District from 1990 until she retired in 2003. She then went on to work for the Quartzsite school until 2008. The next 5 years Pam worked at USA gas as an attendant where she socialized with so many who loved her and her enthusiasm for life. She also devoted her time at the Twin Palms school as a board member/treasurer before she moved on to work for Riverside County at the senior center where she enjoyed working with all her co-workers and senior citizens for almost 3 years until she became ill.

When Pamela was not working, she was devoting her time to her children and especially her grandchildren. She would show up to every sporting event from volleyball to basketball and softball to watch her family play. She attended Shiloh Agape Ministries with Bishop Sam Burton as well to keep herself busy.

Pamela lived her final days at home with her family by her side as she battled with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She cherished her final days with her children and her grandchildren, spending every waking moment together until her last breath.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10:00 am at Frye Chapel, 633 N. 7th Street, Blythe, Ca 92225.
