Oscar "Coke" Garcia, 75, of Blythe, California, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2024. Born on May 17, 1949, in Zaragoza, Mexico, to Florencia Garcia and Jose Hernandez, Oscar was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, tata, and friend. He is survived by his children, Oscar Garcia Jr., Florencia Garcia, Susana Garcia and Jaime Alvarez as well as his cherished grandchildren, Analis Nalley, Jessie Flores, Jordan Garcia, Jesslyn Flores, Howard Nalley, Jillian Flores, Amaris Garcia, Dashawn Boyd, Maria Boyd, and Isaiah Garcia.

Oscar's grandchildren were the light of his life, and he loved spending time with them, often sharing his passion for cooking or telling them stories. Known for his sense of humor, Oscar always made people laugh and could often be found walking the streets of Blythe or at Jessie's Tires. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Paz Garcia, and his daughter, Maria Luisa Paz, Joseph Garcia, Rogelio Garcia, and his Mother Florencia Garcia.

Oscar Garcia's legacy of laughter, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held for Oscar at Frye Chapel, Wednesday, January 22nd at 10 a.m.
