On 19 February 2022 our dear father, grandfather, great grandfather & husband, Norman Dean Cox, went to sleep in death. He lived a long & faithful life to Jehovah. Everyone who knew him loved him for being a man to be remembered.

Norman Dean Cox was born to Leona & Ed Cox on 23 December1934. He was one of four siblings, second to the oldest. He helped his dad raising cotton & alfalfa in Cibola AZ. He was a hard worker, as he continued to be throughout all of his life. He had a deep love for our Palo Verde Valley, as he lived most of his life here.

He met the love of his life when he was about 15 & on 14 November 1952 married Evonne Mills. Oh! The stories those two created! Blythe didn't know what hit it, for sure! At 16 & 17 they eloped & grew up as two kids together. Then they had their own kids Ken, Kathy & Mike. Norman loved farming, providing loving memories as he accomplished the work he cherished. Later he worked in his sanitation & trucking business, then built a beautiful RV Park, with the support of his loving wife & family. Can't forget his love of his Cessna  -- he became a pilot & loved to fly, giving many lasting memories in his little plane.

Along the way, he realized the need to provide spiritually for his family was on his shoulders. His wife, Evonne, first introduced him to Jehovah's Witnesses. The more she learned about the Bible, the more she tried to prove them wrong, the more she knew she'd found the Truth. A few years later Norm dedicated his life & was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He worked hard to instill in his own family the need to put spiritual things first in their lives. He enjoyed sharing scriptural encouragement to all he'd meet, adding his own words of wisdom along the way.

Norman is preceded in death by his father Ed, his mother Leona, his brother Glen & his sister Carol.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Evonne; together they had three children. With their spouses, they are:  Kenneth & his wife Julie,  Kathrine & her husband Jim & Michael & his wife Becky.
Norman & Evonne had seven grandchildren. With their spouses, they are: Levi & his wife Helina, Carrie & her husband Zach, Eric, Marcus & his wife Mandie, Justin & his wife Alanna, Christopher & his wife Jenny & Bryan & his wife Kirsten. Also, Chrissy Cox, granddaughter by marriage.
Also, Norman & Evonne had eight great grandchildren:
Aiden, Caleb, Elijah, Alycia, Shelby, Brody, Spencer & McKenna.

He's also survived by his brother Don & his wife Tommy with many other loving family members & an abundance of spiritual family members who loved him dearly.

One of dad's favorite quotes "Just let your Yes mean Yes & your No no" (Matthew 5:37) was carried throughout his life. He loved to site the fruitages of the spirit from Galatians 5:22,23, focusing on peace. As he rests in his peaceful slumber our mighty Father, Jehovah, will awaken him to a beautiful paradise earth where he'll be with loved ones. (John 5:28,29)
