Natividad Jose Gomez, age 75, died peacefully February 9th, 2019.

He was born September 8th, 1943 in San Lucas Evangelista, Jalisco to Odon and Petra Gomez. He was one of six siblings. He had four brothers and one sister: Manuel, Odelia, Ramon, Roberto, and Salvador.

He also had many friends; many of whom he met while working 50+ years as an irrigator. The most current was working with the Van Dyke Farms, where he worked for 27 years. He enjoyed working with his fellow coworkers and working in the fields in the Palo Verde Valley.

He leaves behind a family that meant the world to him. A beloved wife, Acela Gomez, of 43 years. Three sons Henry, David, and Jaime. His greatest loves were his ten grandchildren, with whom he loved to spend his time with. His face would light up when he was around them.

Nati was a good-hearted man. He was always happy, smiling, and laughing. He was a hard worker and helped anyone who needed it. He enjoyed going back home to Guadalajara where he grew up to visit his family's ranch.

Visitation for Natividad will be held on Wednesday, February 13th from 6pm-8pm at Frye Chapel & Mortuary and Thursday, February 14th at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Blythe, California.  Graveside services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
