Miryea Macaria Bridges (known as 'Mimie'), 23, of Blythe, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California.
Mimie was born in Yuma, Arizona on October 8, 1995, to Sabrina Natividad and Lonnie Bridges. Mimie attended the local Blythe schools and graduated from Palo Verde High School in 2014. She was liked and loved by many. Mimie accepted Christ at an early age, making all of her sacraments at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She loved her brothers, sister, cousins and family dearly. She was very respectful to everyone and had the biggest heart. She would help anyone in need without hesitation. Mimie grew up to be a beautiful young lady and later gave birth to a precious baby boy, Fisher Lee Cotton, on February 17, 2018.
She is survived by her son, Fisher Lee Cotton and boyfriend Andrew Cotton; parents, Sabrina Natividad and Lonnie (KemBia) Bridges; siblings, Christopher "CJ" Orozco Jr., Trinity Bridges, and Tristan Bridges; Grandparents, Felix "Nat" and Lupe Natividad and Krysty Marin; uncle Richard "Sonny" (Summer) Natividad; aunt Felicia Natividad; cousins, Jerrik Natividad, Jake Rayner, Jonathan Natividad, Joel Rayner and Isabella Copple; as well as many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mimie was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Macaria Cortez; grandmother, Paula Banda; uncle, Tony Zavala; and Tia Tillie Perez.
Mimie will never be forgotten, she will always be in our hearts and she is now our family's angel.
Viewing will be held at Frye Chapel on Monday, October 29th beginning at 6:00 pm, with Rosary starting at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Joan of Arc Church on Tuesday, October 30th at 10:00 am followed by a gathering at the American Legion for a potluck-style luncheon.
