Michael Theodore Gilmore, 69, of Blythe, died August 24, 2017 at Eisenhower Memorial Hospital in Rancho Mirage, CA.

A mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 a.m.

Michael and his wife, Reva, moved to Blythe from Oregon in July 1973. Michael was a math instructor, coach and later the Principal at Palo Verde High School. He ended his career working as Deputy Superintendent for the Palo Verde Unified School District.
Michael had 47 years with his soulmate, Reva, during which they shared their passion for education. Their students were their children.

Michael is survived by his wife; Reva Gilmore, two sisters; Susan Gilmore Owings and Marijo Gilmore Nordahl, 7 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. Michael will be interred with his parents, William and Theola Gilmore, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon.
