Michael Castro passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52 on December 26, 2019 in Blythe, California.

He was born March 7, 1967 in Blythe to Miguel and Rosalia Castro. Michael was fondly known to all as 'Big Mike'. He was strong, kind and had a big heart. He loved his kids and grandkids so much; they were his world.

Our king, the heart of our family, has gone to eternally rest, leaving behind a lifetime of precious memories to cherish. He will always be remembered and never forgotten.

Mike is survived by his loving mother, Rosalia de Castro; his children, Rosalia Castro, Michael Castro Jr., Jazmine Castro, Maria Castro and Madelyna Castro; his two sisters, Rosa Ybarra and Irma Sanchez; his brother, Jorge Castro; his loving grandkids, Michael III, Victor, Leylani, Ezekiel and his newest grandbaby, Emma.

Visitation will be held at Frye Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 9th from 6-8:00 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday, Jan. 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
