Mavis Ann Walker (known to many as Ann), of Blythe, CA, passed away unexpectedly on her birthday, July 18th, due to a Grand mal seizure. She was 63 years old.

Mavis Ann Walker was born on July 18, 1961, in Osceola, Arkansas, to her late parents, Felton and Lucille Walker.  Ann was the second oldest of five children. She graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1979 and later earned an associate's degree in teaching from Palo Verde College in 2024. She dedicated her life to her family, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her. Her generosity and compassion touched many lives, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

One of Ann's greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren, especially taking them fishing. She also had a deep love for cooking, often preparing meals that brought family and friends together around her table. Her culinary skills were matched only by her warmth and hospitality.

Ann is survived by her children Lamont Walker of Blythe, Latausha Roland of Avondale, AZ, Aariann Roland, and Johnny Robinson Jr. of Blythe. She is also survived by her eight cherished grandchildren: Germain Vaughn Jr., Dajashanique Vaughn, Doreian Martin, Bishop Daniels, Reianna McBeth, Goliath Daniels, Aiyana Stephens, and Johnny Robinson III. Ann leaves behind her great-grandson Noah Hamilton, her brother Curtis Walker of Las Vegas, NV, and her sisters Bobbie, Judy, and Valerie Walker all of Blythe. She is also survived by a slew of nieces and nephews and is fondly remembered by her extended family and numerous friends.

A celebration of Ann's life will be held on August 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Spirit of Life church. Friends and family are invited to attend and honor her memory.

Ann will be remembered for her loving nature, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
