On September 22, 1956 God delivered to us and the world an angel. He took her back home May 30, 2017.

Mary Helen Pecina has found her way back to heaven and into the waiting arms of her mother Camilla Urrea, father Gilbert "Chibeto" Urrea, brothers Mario, Manuel "Chuco", George "Goosie" Barreras and dear primo Manuel "Prieto" Urrea Jr.

She is survived by her five beautiful grandchildren RiAnna Davila, Demi Helen Pecina, Camilla Mariana Pecina, Nicholas Pecina Jr. and Ciara Davila - All of whom she loved, adored and lived for; Her children Nicholas Joseph Sr., Demetrio Jr., Marcella Anna and Edward Vincent Pecina; As well as her sisters Trini Figueroa, Loli Serrato, Olga Cantu, Gloria Espinoza, Vivian Nalley, Celia Urrea and brothers Mike, Ernie and James "Sayo" Barreras and Gilbert "Veco" Urrea Jr.

We remember her for her strength her compassion and her natural internal and external beauty. We're blessed to have been able to simply hold her hand, hug her and see her smile.

Our angel is back in heaven and so we will come together to celebrate her Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Frye Chapel with 5-7pm viewing and 7-8pm Rosary and Wednesday June 7, 2017 at St. Joan of Arc for 10am Mass followed by procession to Palo Verde Cemetery.
