On Sunday December 17th, Mary Urias Palacios passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband by her side.  Early that morning the clouds lifted and Mary was ushered to Heaven to see all her family members that have passed.

Mary Urias Palacios was born in Blythe, CA on November 6, 1952 to Albert and Artemisa (Micha) Urias.  She married Juan Manuel Palacios on March 31, 1970.   She attended Palo Verde High School and was a very proud stay at home mom for 15 years.  She worked at Rainbow Creamery and the Department of Social Services till her retirement.  Her family was her pride and joy and if she wasn't with her family she would be spending time with her quilting class and friends.  Mary was very devoted to her faith and would attend church regularly and joined the Sisters in Christ and attended the Women's Cursillo retreat in 2022.

She is survived by her loving husband Juan Manuel Palacios, her four children, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way, as well as many loyal friends and extended family members.

Mary was strong willed and stubborn at times, but she always had a welcoming heart to all and accepted everyone as they were.  She loved to laugh, smile and enjoy life at any time.  She will be remembered for all her heart she shared with her friends and family.  She truly loved each of them.  There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to have so many friends and family show Mary and the family support during her final moments in her life.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation at Frye Chapel on Thursday, January 4th from 5:00-7:00 pm followed by  Rosary at 7:00pm.  The funeral will be on Friday, January  5th at 9:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Church followed by burial at Palo Verde Cemetery and a luncheon at the Parish Hall at the St. Joan of Arc Church.
