Marvin Peek, age 86, of Niota passed away on December 5, 2017, at Starr Regional Medical Center. He was of the Baptist Faith, a member of the Labor Union for over 50 years. He was also an avid Nascar fan, and he loved gardening.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Lelar Peek; sister: Maurine Miller, Joyce Price and Lela Faye Peek; brothers: DelRay Peek and Gene Peek.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Peggy Peek (Niota, TN); daughters: Janet Deleuse and Jeff (California) and Elaine Barnes and friend George (California); sons: Rick Peek (Arizona) and Jesse Contreras (Riceville, TN); stepdaughters: Pamela Montelano and Dino, Terri Barnes, Brenda Whiteman and Tony (all of California); stepsons: Larry Barnes, Chuck Barnes and friend Paula (all of California), Wesley Barnes and Anita (Niota, TN); sister: Anne Ramsey; 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 special great grandson: Caiden Barnes

Funeral Services will be held at Frye Chapel on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 11 am.  Committal services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery, Blythe, Ca.
