Marvin
Grijalva
Aug 25, 1956 — Nov 21, 2024
Blythe
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marvin Joseph Grijalva, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on 11/21/2024. Marvin was born to Augustine and Rosilia Grijalva on 8/25/1956 in Arizona, and was a lifelong resident of Blythe, California.
Marvin's life was shaped by his unwavering devotion to his family and his steadfast commitment to the land he worked. For over 40 years, he was the backbone of the Grijalva family farming business, where his tireless work and determination were integral to its growth and success. His proudest achievement, however, was guiding his son, Joseph, to complete his education, a lasting legacy of love, sacrifice, and belief in the power of hard work.
Marvin's quiet strength, combined with his deep love for his family, made him a constant source of support and inspiration. Although he cherished solitude, his generosity knew no bounds. Marvin gave freely of himself to others, even when he had little to spare. His life was a living testament to resilience, humility, and a heart that never stopped giving.
Marvin is survived by his son, Joseph Grijalva; his daughter-in-law, Jordann Grijalva; his grandchildren, Hurley, Oakley, Jetty, Brixton, and Wyeth Grijalva; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Augustine and Rosilia Grijalva, and his brothers, Manuel and Augustine Grijalva II.
A memorial service to celebrate Marvins life will be held in Prescott, AZ, date to be announced.
Marvin will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, hard work, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
