Martha Alicia De Leon Garcia
December 18, 1962 - March 9, 2021

Martha passed away unexpectedly due to health issues on March 9, 2021 at her home in Blythe. Martha was a beautiful and friendly person having been born and raised in Blythe. No doubt you knew her and who she was, not being shy at all. Martha loved talking to everyone she met, at the store, in public, at gatherings and especially out walking in town. She loved listening to Mexican music and especially loved dancing. Martha was the baby of the family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus De Leon and nephew Mitchell De Leon.

Martha is survived by her loving mother, Bilivalda De Leon and her one and only beloved son Francisco Andres Garcia; her brothers – Jesus (Amalia) Cibrian, Robert (Lori) De Leon, Ernest De Leon, Jimmy (Eunice) De Leon and Martin (Deanne) De Leon; her sisters – Gloria (Frank) Medrano, Maria (Homero) Rodriguez, and Josie (Paul) Porter; 24 nieces and nephews, 54 great nieces and nephews and 7 great, great nieces and nephews.

She was loved beyond measure by all her family and she will be greatly missed. As her brother Jimmy lovingly called her (Cool Martha), she leaves us with many beautiful and fond memories.

We will see her again because of the loving hope of the resurrection (Acts 24:15) and are confident of the promise in Rev. 21:4.

Her services will be held March 15, 2021 at Frye Chapel with a visitation at 9 am and funeral services beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
