Marko Alexander Jefravi Sr., born Jesus Francisco Villarreal was born on November 11, 1946 in Navolato, Sinaloa, Mexico. He grew up in a single-parent household and at the young age of seven he began working full time to help provide for his family.  This would be the start for a young, amazing man who created and lived an amazing life.

After working for several years on local farms, he showed an interest in becoming a bullfighter. At the young age of 14, he began practicing in a local ring and at the age of 15 he began fighting professionally making him one of the youngest bullfighters in Mexico to fight full grown bulls. This would become a passion of his and one of his greatest accomplishments, among so many others. Although he loved fighting bulls he knew in his heart there was so much more for him. At the age of 18, he enlisted and joined the Mexican Air Force where he served his country for the next three years. After completing his time in the Mexican Air Force he was given the opportunity to gain his United States Residency and joined the United States Army where he served as part of the 173rd Airborne Brigade and did two consecutive tours in the Vietnam War, earning himself the proud privilege of becoming a United States citizen and it was at this time that he changed his name to Marko Alexander Jefravi.

After being discharged from the Army, he resided in Los Angeles, CA where he began attending a local community college and working part time. In February 1972, he met the love of his life Rose Marie Batriz and they soon married and began creating their lives together.  Marko and Rose Marie would go on to have four children; one son and three daughters.

In 1984, Marko entered the academy to become a Peace Officer for the California Department of Corrections and this would become his career for the next 26 years.

After moving to Ehrenberg in 1989, he spent his time working, playing golf, spending time with his family and eventually some traveling.

Marko is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rose Marie Jefravi;his son Marko Jefravi Jr. and wife Teresa; his daughters Kyra Ivey and husband Stephen, LeeAnn Gautreau and husband Joseph and Consuelo Ashley and husband Joshua; and his two adopted by love daughters, Stacie and Davielle Farwell and his 20 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father in-law, brother in-law and beloved grandchild.

Visitation will be held at Frye Chapel on Tuesday, March 26th beginning at 12:00 noon and funeral services will start at 2:00 p.m.  Marko will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix on Wednesday, March 27th at 11:00 a.m.
