Maria Magdalena Najera, "Magda", 65, of Blythe, CA passed away on Sunday, November 27th, 2022, after a long battle with breast cancer in Palm Springs, CA. Magda was born June 1, 1958 in Blythe, CA. She was the daughter of Roberta Paz and Ernesto Andrade. She married Francisco Najera on September 25, 1991 and lived in Blythe her entire life.

Magda was a homemaker, a devoted wife to Francisco Najera, a mother of eight children and a grandmother of nine. She enjoyed cooking homemade meals for her large family and attending her children's sporting events. She loved spending time with her many pets and taking care of her vast collection of plants. If you knew Magda, you knew she was present with her unique energy, laughter and voice. Magda told it how it was and didn't waste time telling you how she felt. Magda loved attending church with her husband Francisco and celebrating holidays cooking and entertaining her family friends. Magda was always welcoming and willing to feed others at her home. She often cooked for families and friends in need and local missionaries.

She is survived by her husband Francisco Najera, children Israel Garcia, Hector Garcia, Vanessa Najera, Maria Mallett, Perla Najera, Francisco Najera, Diego Najera, Fabian Najera and her grandchildren Giovanni Garcia, Aron Garcia, Arial Garcia, Adrian Garcia, Ayden Garcia, Layla Najera, Mila Najera, Liam Mallett, and Brooklyn Mallett.

The visitation will be held on Friday, December 09, 2022 between 9 and 11 a.m. at Frye Chapel 633 N. 7th Street Blythe, CA. The service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m.
