Mae Frances Crane was born in Holly Grove, Arkansas to William and Jernise Henderson, on December 2, 1939.
She provided childcare services in Blythe for many years. Mae loved baking, gardening, and sewing. She relocated to San Bernardino to help raise several of her grandchildren. Mae was a long-time member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Blythe. After relocating, she moved her membership to St. Timothy Community Church in San Bernardino and served as a member of the Mother's board.
Mae had two loving children: Willie and Janice.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mae Frances was humble at heart and had the spirit of a servant. She would make everyone around her feel special.
She was preceded in death by her husband Willie N. Crane, parents William and Jernise Henderson, brother John Henderson, and sister Margie Elliott.
Mae is survived by her brothers, Jimmie Henderson of Arkansas and Lewis Henderson of Blythe, son Willie C. Crane of Riverside CA, daughter Janice Booker and (son-in-law Sean) of San Bernardino, CA. She had five grandchildren: Drew, Sean Cameron, Devian, Spencer, and Sharee. Three great-grandchildren: Nathan, Aevah, and Zaidah.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Frye Chapel in Blythe. Interment services will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
