Mabel Irene Fulmer, 88, passed away March 8, 2023 in Blythe, CA. Mabel was born on November 27, 1934 in Iowa.

In the 1960's Mabel worked at the phone company as an operator. She also worked in the dining room at the Greyhound Bus Station. Later she worked for Riverside County Social Services as a clerical assistant. Mabel also volunteered at the Food Pantry for many years.

Mabel loved to read. She would read stacks and stacks of books.

Mabel is survived by her children, Steve Fulmer (Wilma) and Jeanne Chavez; 6 grandchildren: Jimmy Lopez, Joey Lopez (Christina), Michael Fulmer (Crystal), Mark Fulmer ( Heather), Matt Fulmer (Marita) and Jason Lopez. She also leave 15 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, 4 nephews and 3 nieces; a brother Jim Baker of Oregon and a sister-in-law Mary Baker of Blythe, CA.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Maria Mendivil for her love, support and care during Mabel's final days.

A private family committal service will be held at a later date.
