Lydia Ester Pecina Perez, 53, passed away on December 19, 2019 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California with her family by her side.

Ester was born on December 9, 1966 in Blythe, California to Juan and Lydia Pecina.  She attended the local schools and graduated from Palo Verde High School with the Class of 1985.  She then furthered her education by receiving her Associate's Degree from Palo Verde College.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Lydia Pecina; brother Juan Chris Pecina; maternal grandparents Buenaventura and Celia Torres; and paternal grandparents Francisco and Avelina Pecina.

She is survived by her sons Mariano Jr. and Sebastian Perez, husband Mariano Perez, and brother Tony (Teresa) Pecina; she is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ester loved to spend time with her family, especially with her two sons whom she loved dearly.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Blythe.
