It is with our great sadness to announce the passing of Luis 'Chino'/'Sumo' Alonso Campos Jr. on Friday, January 7th 2022 at the young age of 29 in Blythe, CA.

Luis is survived by his mother Rebecca Cota (Ysaias Zamudio), father Luis Campos, his brother Andrew Cota (Gracie Cota), his sister April Maduena and his son Josiah Campos.

Luis was born on September 4, 1992 in Sacramento, CA. He was loved and cherished deeply by his family and friends. He spent most of his childhood in Blythe where his friends became his family and where many memories were created and will never be forgotten.

Luis touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a loyal and fun-loving person. He brought laughter to many who knew him with his jokes and his sense of humor. We will always remember his love for dancing and how he could dance to any kind of music. His passions included lowrider cars, bikes, drawing, music, and spending time with loved ones. We will miss you dearly, Luis.

A Celebration of Life for Luis will be held at Frye Chapel, 633 N. 7th St. in Blythe on Wednesday, January 26th 2022 at 3:00 p.m., where flowers and donations can be sent.
