Cipriana "Lucia" Panuco entered into the heavenly gates at the age of 93 on February 6, 2022. Lucia was born to Longino and Juana Alvarado on July 6, 1928 in Blythe, Ca. She was the last surviving of the Alvarado siblings.

Lucia spent a lot of time between Blythe and San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico caring for her parents, working and helping her sisters.

She went on to marry Antonio Panuco on February 3, 1951, and together they had seven children. She was a devoted wife and mother who gave her whole life providing and caring for her family.

Lucia leaves behind her six children, Emma (Sergio) Clark; Norma (Marcos) Rodriguez; Stella Acuna; Silvia (Rawn) McFadden; Cecy (Ricky) Martinez; and Jose (Rosemary) Panuco. 20 grandkids, 50 great-Grandkids, 10 great-great grand kids, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucy was the most selfless loving women to ever walk this earth. Her whole life has always been about giving her time to help others in any way possible. She had a contagious sense of humor, a smile that brought sunshine to any gloomy day, and a heart of gold. There are no words that can describe how much and how dearly she is missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio, son Francisco, son in law George, grand daughter Bryanna, and great-grandson Abraham.

A celebration of life will be held for Lucia on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00am at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Blythe, Ca.
