Linda Von Mohr, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1936 in Elkhart Indiana to Leonard (Jack) and Effie Louise Swihart.

Linda attended Elkhart High School and was a graduate of the class of 1954. She continued her education at Indiana University earning her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1959. It was at Indiana University that she meet the love of her life, Dr. George von Mohr. George and Linda wed on April 23,1960.

The couple moved to Blythe in 1961 where they opened a dental office. They ran the dental office for 28 years. Linda accepted a position with the California Department of Corrections at Ironwood State Prison in 1994. She retired in 2008.

In linda's younger days she was an avid water skier and swimmer, you could always find her at the river. Linda absolutely loved Football, her
favorite teams were the Indianapolis Colts and Notre Dame. Her favorite past time was gambling at the Blue Water Casino.

Linda is survived by her sons Eric (Rachel)and Karl (Becky). Five grandchildren Erica (Danny), Jordan (Manuel), Alexandria, Alana and Alton. Four Great Grandchild that were her pride and joy Iris Luna, Owen Navarro, Tristan Luna, and Messer Navarro.

A private family memorial service will be held in Blythe at a later date.
