Leonor Diaz, 60, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2018 at her home in Blythe.

Leonor was born July 2, 1958 in Casa Grande, Arizona to Jose and Manuela Carrillo Diaz.  She moved to Blythe with her family in 1968.  Leonor attended Ruth Brown Elementary School and Palo Verde High School.  She worked as a farm laborer for about 25 years before working as an in-home caregiver for five years.

She was preceded in death by her son Jose Armando Otero and her father Jose Diaz.

Leonor is survived by her companion, Manuel Otero; her children, Virginia Otero, Eliseo Reyes Jr. and Louie Murillo; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters; as well as a host of many relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.

Services for Leonor will all be held on Friday, January 11th at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church - Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, Rosary will start at 10:00 am and Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
