On February 27, 2018 our beloved Justin Adam Goodchild went to ride with the Lord.  Justin was born on December 1, 1981 to Carol Dryer and Kim Goodchild.  Justin is survived by his loving wife Bethany Nichole Goodchild and his two daughters Melissa and Tayler Goodchild, as well as his parents, grandparents, sisters, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and an immeasurable number of friends and colleagues.

Justin was born in Santa Maria, California.  He met the love of his life in elementary school and they remained best friends and eventually became high school sweethearts.  Justin and Bethany were joined together in marriage on July 21, 2000 in Santa Maria, CA.

Together they welcomed their first daughter Melissa on June 16, 2000 and welcomed their second daughter Tayler on January 27, 2002.  Shortly after they moved to Blythe, CA and began building their dream life together.

Justin began his career at Dekens Cycle and Marine, and has been at Larry Green Auto for the past eight years, where he will be greatly missed.

Justin prided himself on his family, his country, friends and community.  He was a devoted family man, making time with his wife and children his priority.  He was a dedicated provider always making sure his family and his community were well cared for.  Justin loved donating to multiple fundraisers and charities in his community.

Justin loved to ride his Harley, sport bikes, quads, dirt bikes, and their family razor.  Justin also loved evening rides with his wife and weekend quad rides or razor rides with his family.  He also loved target shooting with his family and friends.

Justin's life represents all that is good in a man.

We will deeply miss his smile, his contagious laugh and his his big bear hugs!

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 12 Noon at Calvary Chapel, 145 S. Spring St. in Blythe, CA.  A Celebration of Life reception will follow at 4:00 pm at the home of Waymen & Carolyn Dekens at 2310 Dekens Ct., Blythe, CA.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery, 895 El Camino Real, Arroyo Grande, California. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at 12 pm at the Santa Maria Foursquare Church, 709 N. Curryer, Santa Maria, California.
