Josefina Gamez passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 24, 2024.

She was born in La Yerbabuena, Michoacan and moved to Blythe, CA in 1994 with her family.

She enjoyed spending time with family and her favorite pastime was gardening. She had such a kind heart and was a loving mother and grandmother. Her face would lit up every time she'd see her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Fidel, her children Alberto (Consuelo), Jaime, Manuel (Kika), Valentin (Elena), Vicky (Lorenzo) and her grandchildren Nilton (Lan), Alberto (Gioia), Valentin (Josette), Carlos, Lorenzo, Mateo, Andres, Alondra, Ivan, Fidelito, Lorena and Alex. We will miss her dearly but are thankful for the time we had her and for the unconditional love she gave us. We will continue to carry her love with us.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5th from 4 pm to 7 pm at St. Joan of Arc Church. On Friday, September 6th Mass will be at 10 am at St. Joan of Arc Church followed by burial at Palo Verde Cemetery.

Josefina Gámez falleció rodeada de sus seres queridos el 24 de agosto de 2024.

Nació en La Yerbabuena, Michoacán y se mudó a Blythe, CA en 1994 con su familia.

Le gustaba pasar tiempo con la familia y su pasatiempo favorito era la jardinería. Tenía un corazón muy noble y era una madre y abuela amorosa. Su rostro se iluminaba cada vez que veía a sus nietos.

Le sobreviven su esposo Fidel, sus hijos Alberto (Consuelo), Jaime, Manuel (Kika), Valentín (Elena), Vicky (Lorenzo) y sus nietos Nilton (Lan), Alberto (Gioia), Valentín (Josette), Carlos, Lorenzo, Mateo, Andrés, Alondra, Ivan, Fidelito, Lorena y Alex. La extrañaremos muchísimo pero estamos agradecidos por el tiempo que la tuvimos y por el amor incondicional que nos dio. Seguiremos llevando su amor con nosotros.

El velorio será el 5 de septiembre de 4 pm a 7 pm en Santa Juana de Arco. El 6 de septiembre la misa será a las 10 am en Santa Juana de Arco seguida por el entierro en el Palo Verde Cemetery.
