Jose Luis Flores Valdez, 69, passed away on June 6, 2019 in Glendale, Arizona.

Jose, better known to family and friends as 'Sobuca', was born on December 1, 1949 in Mexicali, Baja California to Carlos and Rosa Valdez.

He spent the majority of his life in the Palo Verde Valley where he drove tractors, cutting numerous alfalfa fields throughout the valley.

Sobuca is survived by his sons, Luis S. Flores "Luckie" and Jose A. Flores "Jojo"; his daughter, Beatrice Flores "Bibi"; and many grandchildren, sisters and brothers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Flores, in 2010.

Visitation will be begin on Monday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. with prayer services starting at 4:00 p.m., all held at Frye Chapel.
