Jose Cenarruzabeitia was born February 20,1936 in Markina Larruskain Bizkaia, Spain and passed away December 25, 2024 in Rancho Mirage, California.

Jose who was known by "El Español" was a humble and kind man. He was a person that got along with everyone and was always willing to help others. When Jose first came to the United States from Spain he was a sheepherder in Idaho. Then he moved to Blythe and worked as an irrigator for many years. Before Jose's illness he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family. Jose enjoyed his daily morning routine which was riding his tricycle around town and then getting his cup of coffee.

Jose is survived by his wife Patricia, his daughter Denise, his stepsons Rodrigo and Osiris, his grandkids Denizia, Zacaria, Denise, Valerie, (Ernest), Rodrigo, Briseis, Patricia, Iris, Osiris, Allen, and numerous great grandkids.

Visitation for Jose will be held at Frye Chapel and Mortuary on Friday January 17th at 9AM with Rosary beginning at 10AM. Mass at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11AM with burial following at Palo Verde Cemetery.
